Howdy ho, good neighbor

God I suck at thinking up titles.

Is it epically sad that I’m only blogging while I’m waiting for The Guild to load? Is that depressing? I feel like it is. I feel as though I need a Nerd Queen crown right now. I am knitting a scarf to match my good winter coat  - as it is now deciding to be 20 degrees during the freaking day here in sunny, Arctic Roanoke, Virginia - and watching The Guild on end.

Okay, brief intro: I’m a college student, double-major in Psychology and History, age nineteen, in possession of one laptop, one webcam, one iPhone (do not judge me with your labels. I am no elitist. This was my birthday present for the next ten years), one boyfriend, one softball, several knitting needles, lots of cheap yarn, and way, way too much nerdiness. On the flip side, I am just rediscovering my nerdiness. Y’all know how it goes: you go off to college as a bright-eyed, fresh-faced freshman, all excited to make new friends and fit in and suddenly find yourself hitting up shoe sales on a Saturday night instead of at home eating ramen and watching Adult Swim like you’re supposed to. But no more, my friends. It’s sophomore year now. I am more than a quarter of the way through college. I wasted a whole year of intense dorkness! After this it’s all kids and mortgages and jobs and no more staying up until all hours to watch online television. What kind of life is that? A lost one, I tell you. So I’m storing up my nerdiness.

I dabbled on LJ in high school, and lurked for a bit since, but I've recently decided to rejoin LJ Land. I, for one, am excited.

knit knit knit, college iz fur loozers, intro post!, cam-cam the texas man, my dorkiness just oozes out of me, the guild ftw, ilove my iphone so don't mock me
