I haven't updated in forever, have I? Swamped with work, life, and Plants Vs. Zombies. Looking forward to shiny all-event streaming coverage of Worlds. Excited that Kylee Botterman won the all-around at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships.
Still rewatching DS9. I'm stuck in that lull period in the middle of season 5 when all of the episodes were less-good rehashes of stuff they'd already done, Odo was human, and Kira was pregnant. (I almost typed that the other way around and busted a gut laughing.) I have thoughts about the quirky ways in which DS9 deals with gender, which I keep almost writing up and then re-channeling the energy into my dissertation.
Was there a reason Dax didn't get to go along on the mission for "Apocalypse Rising?" All I could think the entire time was, "I bet she's pissed she didn't get to dress up as a Klingon."
I am playing this fun game where I try to figure out exactly which episode marks the Changeling impostor's replacement of Dr. Bashir. I kind of hope it was before "Let He Who Is Without Sin" so that Bashir receives the added insult of coming home to find that his doppelganger has dumped his hot girlfriend for him.
In conclusion, have some Buttlespam.
And maybe some Lambielspam too.
