Yesterday, I went to the movies for the first time in almost a year, because sapience14 was willing to drive all the way down here to go to Iron Man 2 with me. I love Robert Downey Jr. and explosions, and so I was thrilled. Also happy to see them flesh out Pepper Potts as a human being. There would have been more of a review, but really, that's it: it's not Annie Hall or anything, but it was a good afternoon out.

Trevor Young, formerly of Animal House, continues in his quest to be as awesome as Charlie White. He's ditched his old pairs partner, Andrea Best, who seemed sweet but is not as good of a skater or as pretty of a face as he is, in favor of a gorgeous, leggy blonde. She's way too tall for pairs and hasn't quit skating singles, so it looks like they're banking on the Skating While Pretty bonus, which will often get you on TV even if it doesn't get you a medal. Alas, this dashes my hopes of Trevor teaming up with Drew Meekins.
