It's good to think twice.
I have a confession to make: I don't like Dreamwidth. I have an account there, with the same name as here, and I've been using it to mirror my fanfic and to comment when people do stuff over there. But I have officially given up on finding a layout that I don't hate, and I find a lot of the "improvements" on LJ to be cumbersome and counterintuitive. Also, my fandoms mostly take place in LJ and don't show much sign of moving over there en masse anytime soon. I have a number of friends who prefer DW, but they all still seem to crosspost to LJ. I like DW's commitment to free speech, and their positions on intellectual property are a lot closer to my own, but that's not enough to get me to move to a platform that bugs me.
But it has come to my attention that it might be a nice and generous thing if I started crossposting all my posts, not just my fic, to Dreamwidth. In that vein, a poll:

I'd love comments if the ticky boxes don't meet your needs, but please don't comment to try to persuade me to like DW more than I do. I've read the "why you should love DW" posts and played around with my settings incessantly; it's just never going to be my most favorite.
In conclusion, have a cute old picture of Evan Bates and Charlie White being little and blond and slashy.
