The Remus Lupins concert picspam!!
Last night, I drove up to slytherin_face's place so that we could see The Remus Lupins (aka Alex Carpenter) in concert. It was really, really fun. He hadn't played in Los Angeles, or even in California, for a few months. We Californians danced the night away, rocking out to the finest of Wizard Rock.
Oh, and a side note before we move on to the pictures. Near the end of his song "Looking for Trouble," the lyrics say "I don't know who R.A.B. is.... Do you? Do you?" Well, some of my friends and I always yell, "It's Bobby Brady!!!!!" and Alex will often respond to our yells. Last time I saw him in concert he sang, "It's not Bobby Brady.... It might be Happey, though." (Happey is one of the members of The Good Cheer, a band TRLs were touring with in the fall.) Face and I cracked up. Anyway, at last night's show, Face and I once again screamed that Bobby Brady was, in fact, R.A.B. Alex looked at us for a moment, then said, "It's David Hasselhoff!" I about died laughing. Oh, Alex, you are made of awesome!

This is Alex's good friend Brandon, also known as Samwise Gamgee. He takes pictures of shows, designs album art, and does many other wonderful things for the band. It's his birthday this week, so Alex called him on stage so we could all sing to him. Also, is his outfit not the cutest ever?!

Totally worth the long drive, the waking up at 6am to make it back to SD in time for class, and the traffic on I-15. XD
