Ow. And other things.
My stomach hurts. I think my lunch is unhappy with me, even though I ate hours ago. I just hope I'm not sick. I can't afford to miss work because things are so hectic right now.
Sorry I haven't been updating much, but there's really not a whole lot new with me from day to day that is worthy of posting. But I do have some updates...
I have (FINALLY!) introduced my brother to Firefly. I keep telling him to watch the show, and he keeps putting it off. But last night, we were waiting for some people to come over (we had a game night with some friends), I decided to turn on "Jaynestown," and he LOVED it. He's really anxious to watch it from the beginning now, and that makes me happy.
Also, I watched the pilot of Kings and IT IS AMAZING!!! I absolutely love it and I can't wait to watch more episodes.
And lastly... I did go buy those CDs I was talking about getting. Thank you all for your suggestions; I tried to listen to at least a few songs from all of the artists you guys suggested, then got what I liked and could fin at Barnes and Noble. Here's what I got:
Flight of the Conchords - Flight of the Conchords
Nada Surf - Let Go
Melinda Doolittle - Coming Back to You
Incubus - Make Yourself
KT Tunstall - Eye to the Telescope
Switchfoot - The Beautiful Letdown
I like all of them, but I'm a little hit and miss on the songs I like on Make Yourself. I love KT Tunstall and Melinda Doolittle. I really like Nada Surf, too, but I'm still learning the music.
Annnnnd, I started typing this about two hours ago, and now my stomach feels much better. Yay!
