A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.
B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.
1. How has LJ changed your life?
It's taken away a lot of my free time! Does that count? In all seriousness, it's helped me get a lot closer to some of my friends and helped me make a lot of new friends. I've delved into fandom, fanfic, and all that jazz, and been even more of a fangirl than I've ever been in my life.
2. What do you do before bedtime?
Wash my face and brush my teeth and change into my PJs, obviously. Usually I lie in bed and either goof off on my laptop or read until I'm sleepy. If I can't fall asleep, I'll listen to soothing music on my iPod for a while until I drift off.
3. What are three questions that you ask the most?
What? (In response to any comment about hearing or sound) Why? Really?
4. Are you happy with your career? And if you don't have one or are not happy, what is your dream job?
I'm in limbo at the moment. I'm between school and a career. My dream job at the moment would be to work at Scholastic and edit children's books for a living. It'll take me a few years to get there, though.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I'm a major extrovert. I thrive on social interaction and get really lonely and bored when I'm on my own too long.
6. Do you believe in fate/destiny? Soul mates?
I believe that everyone has a specific purpose in many, many areas of life be it career, family, or other things. However, I think that you have to seek out your purpose; it won't necessarily come to you by default. Some people, I think, never find their purpose, and some take a long time to find it. Soul mates? Yes, but again, it might take a while to find the person.
7. Do you trust easily?
Yes. I'm pretty open and trusting and I tend to think the best of people.
8. The last song you listened to?
The theme song for The Office. I've been watching season 2 all day. :)
9. What never fails to make you smile?
Jim and Pam's interactions. And Steve Carrell. Also, seeing my friends.
10. The last time you dressed fancy, what did you wear and why did you dress fancy?
On Friday for my friends' wedding. I wore a blue and white dress.
11. Is being tagged fun?
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I think "Awww, someone thought of me while tagging! Yay!" and sometimes I think "Blahhhh, I don't wanna do a meme! Boooo!"
12. Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Working as an editor at a publishing house and being content with my personal life, whether that means I'm dating, married, or just with a group of good friends.
13. Does it annoy you when you keep seeing the same questions in surveys?
Not really. I don't do them often enough to get annoyed by the same questions coming up over and over.
14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
She's quite lovely. She makes fantastic icons and encourages my love of David Cook. ♥
15. If you could have dinner with any person, living or dead, real or fictional, who would it be and why?
C.S. Lewis so I could pick his brain about classic literature and the writing process. If it were a fictional character, I'd choose Luna Lovegood. She would be fun to hang out with and talk to.
16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
I do want to have kids someday. I'd probably like to have three.
17. What's a 'serious' situation that you look back on now and just can't help but laugh or be gob smacked by it?
Oh, I have the perfect story for this. When I went to New Zealand, I was flying with a group of 30 people out of LAX. My mom and I had gone to Bakersfield (where my grandparents live) the day before so we wouldn't have a terribly long trip the day of the flight. So, we give ourselves tons of time to get to the hotel for orientation and then the group would go together to LAX for the flight. BUT! I-5, the ONLY freeway from Bakersfield to LA was closed. It's NEVER closed. So, while my mom is driving and backtracking and panicking, I'm looking on the map for alternate routes south. We ended up driving through Mojave Desert, taking a LOT longer than we should have taken. Also, we didn't want them to leave without me, but didn't have the phone number, so I called my dad at home to get the phone number of the hotel. We did get there on time, but barely. I literally ran out of the car, into the hotel to pick up my plane ticket (I missed orientation), and back out and directly onto the shuttle to the airport. I literally BARELY made it. It was absolutely a comedy of errors, but at the time I was beyond stressed, thinking I wouldn't make it.
18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?
This question confuses me. Is it hasn't which two people I would want to be in love with or which one I would pick if I were in love with two people? I'll answer the first one. I would want to be in love with David Cook and... for the pure hotness factor of him in combination with DC, Michael Johns.
19. What's your worst habit?
Procrastination and picking at my eyebrows while I'm reading.
20. If you could be any age, what age would you wish to be?
I like the age I am now. I'm still young and "carefree," but I'm not too young and awkward; old enough to be independent and all that.
