It's been between -7 and -15 past few days and today we finally got a decent enough layer of snow. It's basically the first snow this year and I celebrated it with a several hours long walk in the snowfall. At first it was tiny flakes of hard snow which stung bitterly driven by the wind. Then it turned into a classic magical (Christmas) snow, white, soft and giving the impression of filling the air with a special kind of warmth and the fluffy fluttering all-encompassing sound of silence.
