BTW: Do NOT spoil me for any unaired episodes. I swear I'll send Sylar after you, and you won't like it! Anything that's been aired or is in the comics is fine, though

I just watched the Matt-girl-rescue episode, presumably she had a power that Sylar wanted because he came back for her. I've never seen anything where it was shown what that power was however.
I think it would be cool to have a family tree of the Heroes to see who's linked where and how.
I suspect that Nathan/Peter's mom has some sort of super power, their father, I think almost certainly did, they played way way to hard on the father's suicide for it to be just background plot filler .
First of all... if you haven't read the online comics at the NBC site, go do so. :)
From those comics, I'm inclined to think that Mr. Petrelli did NOT have a power. (Although that throws one of my original theories out the window.)
Mama Petrelli almost certainly DOES have one. She pretty much told Peter & Nathan as much in ".07%" although we don't know WHAT her power is. My personal theory is that she's the precog in the family, and Peter picked up the prophetic dreams from her.
I don't know, she's definitely got some leadership type powers, the whole "hold the clan together" aura. I don't think they'd duplicate a power already seen in a character, but they might.
Whatever it is, I'll bet she ends up going toe to toe with Linderman sometime.

By that, do you mean duplicating Peter's power? Because I don't think they would be. I also don't think that they'd have a character with more than one natural ability. (Which is why I *still* question whether both of the Haitian's powers are actually *his* powers...) I think Peter's natural power is the ability to mimic. He's a sponge, soaking up other people's powers. I think his prophetic dreaming is just the first manifestation of his ability-- because he was picking it up from someone else close to him. ie: Mom.
I don't think her leadership/holding the clan together powers are necessarily "super". I just think she's got a forceful personality and is a strong person.
Mama Petrelli has been said to have a power "Similar t another heroes, but she can get from point A to point B a lot easier"
Also, since it has been said that Papa Petrelli didn't die in the way we have been told, I think maybe he did have an ability but it didn't manifest till after he met linderman after the war (Yes I read the comics)
Oh, and the freezing power of sylars we saw him use on Molly walkers father wasn't recieved from any one in the walker family. The mums head was still on suggesting she didn't have an ability and the dad was frozen solid sitting upright in his seat, suggesting he froze him before he took his brian, so he had to have that ability before hand.
I could be WAYYYY of base here, but this is just what I've noticed.

Which would make sense with the pre-cog thing... her power is the same as Isaac's, but she doesn't have to go through the trouble of paiting it. :D
You're right about Molly's dad. I didn't think about that... so he got the freezing power from elsewhere and we don't know what he got from Mr. Walker.
