Focus of Colossians - Don't look at the world, angels, or anything else. Christ is over all things.
Fullness of Christ:
Be captive to Christ alone, not sin or worldly philosophy. The full deity of the Godhead dwells (present tense) in Christ, always, forever, never to change.
He alone has never fallen into sin and can sympathize with us. In Him alone can we be made complete.
Heresy is not something to study in depth. A better idea is to learn the truth so that you will not be fooled by the thousands of ways that one can make a false religion. The true knowledge of Christ is what we want to know.
