French fries cooked in duck fat at Duckfat in Portland, Maine.
But we didn't have just duck-fat fries. Oh, no. We had duck-fat POUTINE. As in the aforementioned duck-fat fries with the best cheese curds I have ever tasted and DUCK GRAVY.
OMFG. Ordinary poutine has been forever ruined for me.
It's a really good thing I live several hours from Portland, or my ass would end up requiring a wide-load sign and I'd need a quadruple bypass by the time I turned forty.
