1) You're all watching Sexy Boss Man The Middleman (see icon), right?
2) This week's CSA produce share: lettuce, curly kale, multicolored baby carrots, red and white radishes, garlic scapes, and the most enormous head of Chinese cabbage I have ever seen. Meat share: a 1.5-pound top round steak and another pound of ground beef. (The cute hippie dude who runs the farm's CSA promised they'd stop it with the ground beef for a while, since this is its third week in a row.)
3) The 2008 fall announcements issue of Publishers Weekly showed up today. *joy* I feel like a little kid who's just gotten her hands on the new Sears Christmas catalog (yes, I know I'm dating myself here). Books, people! SO MANY BOOKS.
