A few more things about fanfic
1) Are there really that many grown women - let alone men - who use shampoo that smells like strawberries or orange candy or something like that? (I have mint- and and gardenia-scented hair products, but those are a little more adult than berries and candy. If my hair started emitting that cheap artificial strawberry stench - I mean, have you ever smelled strawberry shampoo? it's foul! - my husband would be repelled rather than attracted and obsessed by it.)
2) I've never been shot or otherwise seriously wounded, but I have had surgery, and there is NO WAY that I felt like having sex that day, or the next day, or for quite a few days after that. So what's with all the characters who get shot or stabbed and are having Teh Healing Sex within a day or two - sometimes within an hour or two?
3) Unlike many fanfic characters, I don't want someone sticking his tongue in my mouth first thing in the morning. There are few things more unromantic than morning breath, except maybe kissing when one person has vomited and has not yet brushed his or her teeth, which happens in fic, too. Ugh.
4) Please, in the name of all that does not suck, stop referring to characters as "the blond"/"the brunette"/etc.
