Second Chance for the Newsons!
Hello again everyone! It's been a long time since I posted in here, and I had an idea for the Maxis_taste dare 26 as soon as I saw that post. It was easy too... my least favorite Maxis premades? The Newsons!!!
The first time I played this family, I screwed them up really bad. The kids got sent off with the social worker and Gavin and Ginger were constantly fighting. And I don't really like playing with sims toddlers.
I'm giving them a second chance.
Gallager and Gabriella
Garret and Georgia. Okay in all honesty, this animation is always cute.
I moved them into an apartment duplex in Pleasantview, of course. ;)
I've seen Gavin with this hair in other people's games. It works for him.
Gallagher is kind of average in a lot of ways. I don't think he wants to be average.
Gabriella is always happy. She's doing well in school and it's easy for her moods to stay up.
I didn't get around to downloading a lot of custom buymode content. No big deal, my decorating skills aren't the best anyway. :)
Ginger has been working constantly. She's goes to school because she has to, and comes home to clean and cook and make sure the babies are taken care of. She doesn't even have time to worry about how she looks, about school, homework and making new relationships.
Poor Ginger.
In private she lets herself cut loose a little.
Ginger is a little bitter that she has to be the mature one. She has to handle the neighbors complaints about the smell and the noise.
When the neighbor left, Ginger snapped and started to stomp on her flower garden.
Gavin, on the other hand, is a little help, but he really does want to do well in school and get a job in the Athletic career. He hasn't been able to because the kids are taking up a lot of his time and he's constantly tired and grumpy.
They did get a nanny. She's okay... though I'm not sure how she managed to direct her pee into that corner. :p
And Gavin and Ginger came home from school one day to the babies sleeping on the kitchen floor. The nanny, Kendall, wasn't even worried about this. She just left.
Garret grew up badly. This would have been so sad if I wasn't laughing so much at his tantrum.
Garret is actually kind of creepy.
So Georgia grew up well. I stopped playing and reloaded my game a bit ago and there was a pterodactyl statue stuck to her head.
I don't even know what's going on.
I changed her hair, and the pterodactyl stayed. I couldn't even use moveObjects to delete it.
So I kept it on her.
Like she minds.
I did better than the last time I played them. At least no one was snatched up by the social worker this time. :)
