Magneto used to say that to me a lot. "Seize the day!" and I would add, "By the throat!" and he would laugh. Because it's funny, only not in a joking way. In a true blue sort of way! (I wish that green rhymed with true because things are so much truer in green then in blue, mates. No jokes with that one! Alas, no fun rhyming games with that for me.)
Anywho... That's exactly the way it's done here in the Brotherhood. It isn't some sort of touchy-feeling, "Okay, now, boys and girls, do the best that you can!" sort of mentality. It's a, "We're the best, so let's show them all!" one.
Because we ARE the best. We know it, and you know it, everybody knows it so let's just all admit it now, okay?
I've seized the day plenty of times. It usually involves neck-cracking! Like that time that guard tried to shoot Pyro (oh, wait, John, bah!) and he did end up shooting him but I stopped him from shooting him dead by grabbing him by the neck with my tongue and SNAP. And that other guard at the Sentinel Factory SNAP. And then there were those bloody Friends of Humanity guys SNAP SNAP SNAP. And theWeaponX guys SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP SNAP. AND there was that girl that I used to lure John SNAP. And those two spy guys last week SNAP SNAP.
I take seizing the day by the throat quite literally. It's the best way to do it! Very effective. You feel the crunch and hear the snap and you think to myself, "Well, Self, that day has been seized."
I bloody love being Brotherhood.
