What in the world is up with people wanting to give me free junk lately?
Dear Sir,
My name is Lee Alexander and I am the head of promotions for an American band called Redrum. The band are due to release their latest album next month sometime and I was wondering if I were to send you a copy of the album, would you be interested in reviewing the album for us?
Redrum have been around for about 10 years and haven't really gotten anywhere so this is the last time the guys are going to try and get somewhere! They have toured in the past with bands such as Gwar, Marilyn Manson, Static-X, Ministry and so on. We'd really appreciate you reviewing the album plus you'll get a free CD from a 'new' band.
