Sunny; 75-80°F. I returned to the local rail trail this afternoon for
New Castle Rail Trail Cache #10. The reason why I didn't do this cache when I did the others in the series was because it is on the other side of a water-filled ditch. Today, I brought sandals and
waded into the water. The geocache is actually pretty trivial to find. The stream is the only barrier and once I dealt with that, I had the cache in a few seconds. After that, I didn't bother with the shoes. The rail trail is a flat paved surface so I walked back to the car in sandals to let my feet dry off.
I also went for another new geocache in the neighborhood,
A Tribute to Nick. It's in the Arner's Diner parking lot at the US-13/Route 141 cloverleaf intersection. I remember a cache that used to be in the same spot long ago but got archived, so it's good to have a replacement.
