By the original meaning of UFO, it is exactly as it's advertised- an unidentified object flying around. :)

Good on you! I get so pissed off with the notion that UFOs are from outer space. We don't know where they're from--that's why it's unidentified. If we know it's an extra terrestrial vessel, then we should call it that.
