North Jersey

Sunday was sunny, 48°F, and very windy. There were 4 geocaches up on the hills near home that were too much of a hike for weekday lunchtime geocaching, so I did those on Sunday morning. Then I went to Montville and Parsippany to take on another cluster of new geocaches. Most of those were hidden more or less the same way so they were all easy.

Saw a family of 5 picking up litter at Montville Community Park, where the "Eick von Wolfsrevier" geocache was. I'm impressed. No wonder I didn't see a scrap of litter there. If we have more people like those and fewer litterbugs, all our parks would be nice.

The last geocache of the day, "A Common Cache", was pretty close to an Aldi. Since I'd never been to that grocer before, I was curious and went in to take a look. They have lots of unknown-brand items but at low prices, some as low as sale prices at Pathmark. I didn't need much so I only bought a few non-perishable items this time. Too bad there isn't an Aldi closer to home. This one is 40 miles away.
