A list of expenditures and justifications on a "heavy spending day."

1. Internet, 30 mins, ~22Kč  - Must check on response to recent post and see if I can hunt Liesel down for chatting before she goes to sleep.
2. Coffee, drip, medium, ~30Kč - Disgruntling headache will not go away.  Disappears magically at first sip of above.
3. Cafeteria-style lunch: Broccoli Soup, Goulash/Dumplings, Beer, ~110Kč - Was starving and too far from hostel to make sandwich and/or ramen.  Also, cafeteria food "sticks to ribs."
4. Small backpack from marketplace, green and strap-laden. ~580Kč - Have no way to move cheap grocery-store food when I change hostels tomorrow.  Also will need extra bag to transport additional purchases upon return home.  Also, bag is stamped "Mfd. Dec. 1977," an obvious lie as far as bag is concerned, but applies to me nicely.
5. Books: "Rock n' Roll" by Tom Stoppard and Czech/English Dictionary. ~350Kč - Learned Tom Stoppard's most recent play was written in Czech.  Can't read Czech.
6. Energy Drink/Coca-Cola/4cL bottle of Swiss Absinthe. ~215Kč - Feeling restless and chaotic.  Decide to create experimental mega-beverage.
7. Music festival on island in river Vltava. ~150 Kč - Must experience culture of Prague!
8. Sprite/19.5 cL bottle of Swiss Absinthe. ~390 Kč - Previous experiment successful.  March of science must continue!
9. More internets. ~?Kč - I'm posting this, aren't I?

Music festival was fun.  Saw what I'm pretty sure was the best band. The band after that started throwing what may or may not have been sieg heils, interspersed with peace signs.  In the absence of any nearby black people, I took off.

Total spent: 1847 Kč = $92.35.  Amount spent yesterday (for comparison): about $15.
