How weird is this: Maybe 30 miles to the south of Prague, the city I've been meaning to visit for roughly a third of my life, there is a city called Milevsko. Weird, eh? Well, 5 miles to its east is a city called Tabor.
So basically it looks like I signed the map under Prague.
I walked a terribly great deal today. As soon as I'm able to sort out the route on a map, I'll try to post it here. Prague outside its city center alternates between desolation and beauty. It reminds me a lot of Sacramento, especially with the old touristy part of town right on the river.
Tomas and I got separated outside the Spanish Synagogue yesterday. I thought he'd ditched me, but it is also possible I accidentally ditched him. Hard to say. Anyway, to compound life's strangeness, I ran into him on the way back into town from my ramblings. Prague is not a small enough town for that sort of thing to happen. C'est la vie, I guess. C'est la reve?
