Lots lots thing
It was fun yesterday. Yesterday morning at around six o'clock in the morning, my friend Harry was like, "hey, you want to go to NYC today?" so I ended up taking a train to Trenton then from Trenton to NYC on the NJ Transit system. It was so much fun. It was two-and-a-half hours each way to NYC in which we slept a bit, but also talked a lot. We were going to NYC so he could get his headshots done by a professional photographer for a crazy $200. They turned out pretty well, I think. We didn't hang around NYC all that much, but I had the amazing pleasure of riding the NY Subway system for the first time! And I saw Timesquare, fun stuff! We were going to go to Olive Garden afterwards, but I wasn't hungry at all the entire day, so he went home and I went to bed. Fun day.
Today is going to be interesting if everything goes according to plan. We're throwing a very small gathering to say farewell to Kev, who's going off to the army in just a few short days. I've been put in charge of getting a cake and a banner or some balloons. In addition to all that jazz, Philby and I are going to go get tested today, since it's about due time, so I'll be without some of my blood for the party, which means I probably shouldn't drink very much at all. Oh man, we're supposed to go to 12th tonight, too... I hope I feel up to it. Le sigh.
