I think I successfully shocked Jon The Goth on my arrival at Inquo on Saturday as I'm 8 months pregnant and when he saw me he went 'bloody hell you're huge'!!! It made a change as I've been told constantly I have a really small bump but that's due to being tall and little miss having lots of room to move and grow.
Dave and I haven't been to Inquo since October so it was nice to be able to catch up with everyone again but it made me miss my gothic clothes even more as I went in my long sleeved 'Do Not Touch The Bump' t-shirt and cotton stretchy trousers as none of my goth stuff has even remotely fitted in months! I did wear my New Rocks though to at least have one goth item of clothing on!!
Catching the train to Cardiff and getting a taxi back also meant I didn't have to sleep drive down the motorway although I did nod off as I suffer horrendous travel sickness and was feeling queasy. By the time we got back to the car it had elevated to higher levels and I was promtly sick so God help whoever found that the following morning in the car park - oops!
Yesterday Dave's band rehearsal happened in our living room and I had to go and pick everyone up as their guitarist was ill and he normally doubles up as taxi driver too. They managed to get another drum track sorted too so were happy. Ideally they'd have a live drummer but they are rare as hen's teeth in Swansea so the drum tracks will at least mean they can do gigs.
Today I plan to continue chilling out and getting myself organised ready for the big event and need to pack a hospital back so will try and get that done by the end of the day - what fun!
