For most of the last week I have had excrutiating toothache which has either just been in one spot on my top left row of teeth or on the top and bottom row with pain shooting to my ear as well. I've taken so many pain killers I am suprised I don't rattle and finally got an emergency appointment at the dentist yesterday as I'd had my 6 month check up the previous Wednesday and even though I was told I didn't need anything done I assumed he must have disturbed something to cause the pain.
In actual fact it turned out to be my sinuses causing the pain and not a dental problem so he sent me away with antibiotics to settle it down. I didn't know you could get toothache like this from a bug and will be glad when it clears up as I can't eat or sleep properly and all the different painkillers I have tried only settle it down for a while.
I felt so lousy when I got in from work on Wednesday I phoned David to say I wouldn't be coming over as I felt too ill to drive and he said he would catch the bus and come here instead. It took him a while to get here but he made it with a slight detour as he got the bus from Swansea which goes everywhere rather than straight here and has been here ever since looking after me - he's so sweet! I know Mum, Dad and Peter were also here but I really appreciate Dave being here as well and it's giving him a break from Craig and Zuleika who he shares his house with as they are driving him insane.
I met Dave's 90 year old Nan and his aunt on Monday too as we went to Barry to see them so he could get his birth certificate back as he seems to need it for certain job interviews. His Nan rocks and is a feisty lady and it would be good to see her again. It's been over 10 years since I lost my grandparents so I forget what it's like to have them :)
I'm hoping to shake this bug off this week as I don't want to be ill for Dead of Night which is a week tomorrow. Mum and Dad have gone to Brittany for the week too so it will be nice and peaceful with no arguments between Peter and Mum but we have to babysit the dogs which means we'll probably be back and forward to Morriston as Dave now has his cat Garfield at his house so we need to keep and eye on all our furry friends!
