Another fun weekend!
Having finished work on Saturday I headed over to Dave's where I then stayed until this morning :) In between avoiding the sun as much as possible and loafing I took him to band practice on sunday, we had a pagan gathering in the evening at his house then yesterday headed to Bridgend to visit his family.
We also met up with a friend of his so they had a natter while we all drank tea and when we left the cafe his brother was standing outside and the look on his face when he saw Dave was hilarious!
His Mum had gone to Barry to see her Mum so we had time to kill waiting for her to get the train home so spent it wandering around the shops. I bought the next Anita Blake book I need to read before the new one too so now have plenty to keep me going!
When we headed to the station to meet Dave's Mum we bumped into a friend of his who then walked along with us till we got to my car but then he headed off when I drove round to his Mum's house. We then spent the rest of the evening there watching tv and chatting and then headed home with his Mum requesting he visits again soon! I got on well with his family too which was a relief as I was a bit nervous about meeting them!
Dave had to sign on this morning so I dropped him off in the centre of Morriston then headed home via Phones 4 U where I got my contract swapped from Orange to Vodaphone and hopefully will have a signal now when I use the phone at home and work!
There is a plan to go to the pub with a bunch from the pagan group but no time was arranged so I am a bit in limbo until I get a reply to see if it's still on!
