Neverwhere
J and I watched Neverwhere this weekend, and I enjoyed it immensely. Despite the Tom Baker-Doctor Who level of special effects (or perhaps because of the effects--need quality elsewhere if you have monsters wrapped in fur rugs), it was really engaging: funny funny characters, mostly good acting, and another excellent look at my beloved London. Paterson Joseph as the Marquis of Carabas (and I know my Puss in Boots, so I got his character right away), the woman who played Lavinia as The Heroine, and an adorable guy with a Scottish accent as The Hero. Fun! And great villains.
