A FAIRLY FRUITFUL FATHER'S DAY

Jan 01, 2008 10:29

Come on in, i'll treat you nice.
I used to know your daddy, once.
I used to sit in silence watching daddy, watching you.

We used to celebrate your life with steak.
You'd salivate on sight.
We'd blow you up such wondrous, fine balloons.

We used to tuck you in at night
and take our time and do it right.
We'd take turns turning on and off the light that lit your room.

He said to keep you here with me
if ever he should go away.
He told me i could be your daddy, too.
