Great Weekend
Had a great weekend, if busy. The dinner was a lot of fun Saturday night. One couple cancelled about two hours before dinner...one of them had the flu. So, there was quite a lot of leftovers. The dry aged prok was great, I really must do this one again. The mushroom soup turned out better than I thought it would. We were exhausted by tthe end of the evening. I went to bed with a bad headache that wouldn't let up. Harry was a prince and cleaned up the kitchen while I slept in...the pooch must've sensed that Daddy was wiped, as she didn't whine to get me out of bed.
We had a nice relaxing morning, ran to a couple of stores, and then had dinner at a friend's house tonight. All in all, a great weekend.
Back to writing tomorrow. I haven't touched a grant or manuscript all weekend. This was a Good Thing.
