tess and jade stayed overnight... at the moment they're watching 'elvira, mistress of the dark' and squishing my rat. nice to see them and all but still puzzled as to why i volunteered to mind children on my vacation from minding children. altruism? hmmm. there's food for thought. i remember arguing with charis (why am i unable to make links!!??) about whether there was such a thing as true altruism. hmmm. *strokes beard* who says blondes aren't deep.
last night the girls and i took an old makeup kit and transformed jay into a (rather unattractive) pre-op transsexual. they cornered me at the end and painted on stubble.
2 more hours and the kids are gone. i must stick around for the cable guy, who god willing will be here before sundown. i need to get out for a while. mail a money order for a mae west CD won on e-bay, etc. coffee would be nice, too.
