.:v:. Silence is when I feel You best

Run, run, run - Greyback is out for your poor souls (and palatable flesh). Strange that they only realized this now, but gratifying nevertheless that at least they did - Lycanthropy isn't exactly what one would call Merlin's blessing. I would say death and destruction to the filth there should be a strict isolation of all lycans, which, the valiant ( Read more... )

Far, far more dangerous to whom? You operate with such general notions, it is often impossible to pinpoint the very argument you are trying to bring in here. If they are far more dangerous to all non-magical people, you would be quite correct. Pureblood Supremacists could also be called Magic Supremacists because they are against the Muggle world - there shall never be peace and safety for us in this world, while the other kind persists. Then again, I forget you and your kind are prone to bouts of selective sclerosis, where you forget about their Holy Inquisition and witch burnings, and only remember their few 'good' sides.

Lycanthropy, on another hand, is extremely dangerous to everyone. Not only do they infect Wizards and Muggles and whatever other beings you'd have, they also potentially threaten our general demographics. Imagine if all of these lycans, at least once in their lives, infect another - will there be any more Wizarding Britain left? We are already small in numbers, what need is there for mercy in face of danger?

But yes, do forgive me, I forgot you are that feisty penultimate Weasley boy - heard quite a lot of you.

Allow me to elaborate. Far, far more dangerous to anyone not a Pureblood Supremacist. Specific enough for you?

Can their past failings in trying to wipe us out really be considered as any worse than the Supremacists' current failings in trying to wipe them out?

Weren't you the one urging me to look at the other side? Try a bit of perspective yourself, Morsus.

A bit of a perspective? Why, sure. Here I am standing, a Muggle, clothed in outrageous rags that Muggle fashionistas call Haute Couture. I am standing, minding my own very Muggle business, and there I see a "strange" fellow in fine robes walking down the alley where I always work my very Muggle work. He is beautiful, I can see that, but he is also very weird. He stops and asks me silly questions about the very Muggle technology, something I, as a quintessential Muggle, know a lot about - and that further raises my suspicions. I come to realization that he must be a foreigner and being a xenophobic Muggle, I become aggressive - after all, it is my land. The strange fellow in velvet suit and a silky robe stares at me queerly and then takes out his wand, muttering something at that. Suddenly he disappears. What do I do as a proper Muggle? I panic. I call the enforcement organs and tell them what I saw. My story is supported by other numerous witnesses.

Repeat a few times.

What is the end result? A worldwide conspiracy against all these 'strange' fellows in robes and wands.

Don't challenge me to try different perspectives, Weasley. I've spent far greater time in musing about the world than you could ever think of with your limited abilities.
