This Saturday night, October 25th (which also happens to be Sarabeth's birthday), The incomparable Loews Jersey is showing the 1925 Lon Chaney version of "The Phantom of the Opera". A true classic of horror and of golden-age Hollywood cinema in general, Chaney's Phantom is a must-see, but what makes this screening special is the Lowes' fully-restored in-house pipe organ, which will provide live accompaniment!
Sarabeth and I will be there, and so will Max, though we expect him to sleep through the movie. Hopefully the organ music won't be too jarring.
Maybe we'll see some folks we know there too (hint, hint).
