Planning an excursion to visit the moles?

And the bats and the rats, and one, or three pebbles. Yes.

Yes, I should think so.

I'm afraid it would not be a good idea for me to escort you.

How daring of you.

I assure you, I intend to plan for all possible mishaps and to fend them scrupulously. There'll be little daring involved.

It's impossible to plan for everything.

Despair frequently makes do with the impossible.

Man, I never had a reason to go down there, but if I did, I'd just pop a cap in whatever tries to ice me.

No, dumbass. Y'know, ice as in "kill the son of a bitch".

I'll thank you to keep your insults. I've not earned them.

Correction: ...within sight. There is a barrier.

What can you tell me of it?

Little is know about it; clock gets the lion's share of attention.

...you mean to tell me it's gone so seldom inspected, most don't even know of this barrier?

I've been down to the Clock a number of times. There's a barrier that no one's been able to get past, but I may have studied the mechanism more than anyone else in this City- for as much good as it's done me.

A... barrier. Pray, how does it behave? Mr....?

private makes_you_tick January 28 2011, 22:39:54 UTC
Sylar. The barrier's more of a force-field, although it's different than any I've seen. Touching it is generally a bad idea. Hit it too many times and it teleports you randomly. Also, the deities really don't appreciate large groups heading down there, or recordings of the trip.

You really want to investigate it? You sound fairly determined.

What do you mean that they... don't appreciate it? What're the repercussions?
