Interlude for a meme

I’ve actually been looking forward to doing this, and even though I should be working (I just received email instructions from Evan - but I was so glad to hear from him, I honestly don’t care!), I’m going to go with it. I was first tagged by sbroadway and now closh2 has reminded me I need to do this.

Laughs! You're in, BTW. Now you get to read the trials and tribulations of dealing with about ten pianists who act like marbles rolling all over the place (chuckle!). Actually, my interview notes for Roberto Plano (and to a certain extent Alexander Kobrin, though I was really sick when I wrote them) are fairly interesting. It has been amazing to me how these young fellows do not say what you expect AT ALL!

As for videos, I don't have a good picture here that shows it, but I do on my home computer and I'll post. Answer: hundreds. I have the entire 1991 baseball playoffs (NL) on tape, for example. And have watched them many times. I used to tape a lot of things (so I may have three movies to a tape . . .), and although I'm not organized enough to do that as much anymore, I now buy fairly regularly.

Recently, it's been mostly Cliburn documentaries and recital DVDs, I'm afraid. But I watched Impromptu several times while I worked recently. And I'm still carrying around some videos of the Pope. In the office I'm keeping a lot of Inspector Morse, Rumpole of the Bailey and Yes, Minister.
