Meph, again...

Feb 26, 2005 20:33

Give me liberty, give me life;
I'll give you chains, I'll give you strife.
I'll take your joy and make it mine
And take my sorrow, make it thine.

Or how abouts....

Colder than Hell inside,
Where the emptiness resides.
Frozen apathy left it's sign
On the vessel marked as mine.

Chilly bones litter the floor,
Skeleton ideas once much more.
Cool blood flows thro' frost-veins,
While the emptiness so reigns.

And here in the world so grey
Is the creature known as "prey"
To my empty, cold, chill state.
Make the emptiness abate.

Hold my hands over the fire
Of the prey's arm lighted pyre.
For this moment, all is sated;
My soul is warm and elated.

The cold and empty come again,
That dreadful, clamouring sin
Rises and it spreads above the din.
Soon the chill must be sated again.
