To being told “You’re wrong”:
Paper, rock, and scissors, they:
All have their pros and cons…
I finished ‘Uglies,’ now I have to find ‘Pretties.’ But first I’ll finish all the books people loaned me, and the last one on Mom’s card, ‘Stravaganza: City of Flowers.’
The ride was long and dull. With lots of annoyance from David. We were force-fed Harry Potter. And listening to books in the car makes me sick. I don’t know why, but it does. So we gave David the front seat headphones, and I got the backseat all to myself. I got to sleep eventually.
We got to Grandma and Grandpa’s eventually. Hunter came by for awhile, but Taylor was at home with her boyfriend. Oooooh… lol! She showed up later, and we talked about our cell phones, our shoes, getting new shoes, the Magic Shoes, school dances, passwords, and the two girls with boyfriends compared stuff. :p lol!
I stayed up late wondering about a plot that had barely been born on the way to Ohio. I shan’t mention it here, in case people may set out to thwart me, but I shall think long and hard, and it will always be in the back of my mind.
In the morning, we went to church. The pastor was gone, so the youth pastor made an interesting sermon. About buffets. Taylor didn’t sit with us, she sat with Dustin. He is ok, but he has a large nose. Lol! He’s nice, though. Later, she showed us cute pics of them together. Their 1 year anniversary is coming up in two weeks, and their making photo albums for each other! It’s almost too sugary to bear!
“Oh, well then, lets join the Satan youth group where we will all wear low-rise jeans and listen to angry rap music and be nibblers!”
Poor Quest. I feel sorry that they don’t have Jill.
Grandma took us out to eat at Dino’s. But Dad ended up paying. Taylor, again, didn’t come. I had a restaurant special; salad with fries and cheese on top! It was pretty good for how unhealthy it sounded. I got another sermon from Dad, though, about learning how to eat right for yourself at school. Perhaps I should stop eating lunch again. Ever since starting to eat breakfast, I’ve just not been as hungry…
Then we went to the Fair! There was neat stuff on dispay, and good rides. We met these kids, Tom and Sarah, initially by Tom trying to sell us his sister. It was fun! We hung out with them for awhile, before we went to eat. Tom’s afraid of large circles and horses. Sarah needs three different pens for her classes. “A black one for Science, a blue one for Math, and a red one for Literature!” We considered selling our souls, contemplated Shakespeare, the Partridge Family, and the Snitch. I complimented his castrated angel, (Led Zeppelin) and we discovered that we both play soccer, and he and Emy both play “Euphonium!!!” We almost discovered the contents of his stomach on the Tornado, and Sarah and I hung on REAL tight on the boat. Then we had to leave, and we exchanged numbers. I hope they’ll call soon…
I ate a deep-fried onion for dinner with Emy, and then we had chocolate-covered cheesecake for dessert. I should’ve had a chocolate banana instead, but it’s the only place we can get cheesecake. Mom hates it. Then we headed home.
We trekked over to Taylor and Hunter’s and hung out until midnight. We ate cake that was ‘terrible, you really don’t want any, we’ll dispose of it ouselves’ and used amazing straws! I got annoyed at the radio for misquoting Sly Fox, and I met Mario the cock. Yes, he really is a rooster. He’s actually quite tame, but his spurs are sharp!
Then we journeyed to Taylor’s room to compare pant sizes, discuss rocking out, hainging out, and other things, we obsereved her dresses for the dances, and texted her b/f. I sorted through her CD’s, and remembered the one I left at home. We discussed thongs, sorted through pics of her and her b/f, (there’s no escape!) talked about my dreams, played with balloons, talked about my sack, (lol) contemplated new shoes again, wondered about our gay (?) brothers, and again brought up the plot again. I still won’t tell you.
Quotes:
“SOMEONE was disappointed!”
“When in doubt, whip it out!”
“Taylor shoves balloons down her pants.”
“I’ll need some more birthdays for my balloons.”
“It’ll be a good time!”
“I think it’s yours”
“Man-smell…” *sigh*
The drive home was postponed for an hour to wait for Taylor and Uncle Tim. Taylor arraived all decked out in her glow-in-the-dark track shirt. But that’s ok, we still got home at a decent hour. (4:30) We discussed the Millennium Falcon battle station, the fact that Number One is still missing (perhaps he gets Labor Day off?) the suspention of reality in Jaws, and the fact that I’m SO excited for Choir! Except Sol fetch. Ugh.
School tomorrow. I’m kinda excited, but worried, too. Seniors! AAAAAAAHHH!!! Whee!!!!
This song helps me get to sleep when I’m stressed. It just has such beautiful clashes. As oxymoronic as that sounds, the song is really beautiful.
A Boy and a Girl
Stretched out,
Stretched out on the grass,
A boy,
And a girl.
Savoring,
Their oranges,
Giving their kisses,
Like waves,
Exchanging foam.
Stretched out,
Stretched out on the beach,
A boy,
And a girl.
Savoring,
Their limes,
Giving their kisses,
Like clouds,
Exchanging foam.
Stretched out,
Stretched out underground,
A boy,
And a girl.
Saying nothing,
Never kissing.
Giving silence,
For silence.
Ooooooh…….
