I've been procrastinating. You can tell by the fact that I spent 3 hours out of the house (never straying more than 100 metres away however) sitting on comfy chairs in the bank and volunteering to be stabbed with needles (something I'm generally terrified of).
However, I'm now immune from flu and have an extra £300 of interest-free debt. I went to buy a phone as well, but just as I was about to hand over £60 the woman at the o2 shop told me of a place I can get my 3 phone unlocked for a tenner. Her boss looked less than impressed.
Instead I went charity shopping. For just over £7 I got:
- new bag. I like it, even if it is made out of cows. At least I didn't directly feed the cow skinning market.
- two records. Four Tops - Reach Out and a Mamas & Papas album.
- psychology study book. Goes with one of my super expensive required texts, only I spent £2 on it rather than £16.
- picture frame. Procrastinated more by making a collage of animals with balloons to go inside it.
Feel a bit funny after the flu jab. Probably a placebo, making me think I'm ill so I can procrastinate some more. Shame, we were going to see 'Burn After Reading' tonight.
Watched 'Pan's Labyrinth' last night. I really enjoyed it although I'm a bit surprised it was only a 15. Tonight I'm going to watch 'The Panic in Needle Park'. I've downloaded 'Rosemary's Baby' as well as I've decided I should educate myself more in the field of horror (having finally recovered from my 'no lights on in toilet' fear thanks to 'Candyman'), especially considering I always seem to crave gore and gratuitous violence and I'm quickly running out of gangster films.
'Fantasia' is downloading too. Now that's a horror film.
Another thing - does anyone know of anywhere to hire wheelchairs?
I'm going to the Maximum R'n'B Tour on Thursday to see Alan Price, but when I bought the tickets the only decent seats were in the disabled area. Plus, you can take an 'escort' for free, so it was only £19 instead of £40.
The only catch is that my legs/body are fully functioning.
