Reflections on the New Year
Well, there's 2011 gone, and now we're starting on the end of the world. Time to take stock.
Last year (okay, maybe late in 2010, but only Fairywine is counting), I was introduced to LJ, and dA, finally moving my fandom-y soul from the Pit. I've stuck my nose into tumblr a time or two, but I still don't get it.
Anyway, since November I can proudly say that I've been with Hetalia for one year. I've met glorious, wonderful, exciting people the way you do online. All thanks to Fairywine, Timyd, champagnesly, Rainbow Fishy-chan, Purpleshadow Angel, Kitak Law, and a host of others I've found a very welcoming place to gush and vent.
Goldylocks is probably very disappointed with me, what with my updating like crazy for my X-Men: Evo fics, and then dry hiatuses of years while I play with shiny toys like Hetalia. Yep, I'm one of those people, and I have accepted this. Cross fingers that this won't happen with Eight Men, because my New Year's resolution is to have a chapter done for each month. In my best Romano voice, this means that I want to have the fucker finished by March. And then I will get back to pestering champagnesly for the delicious France/Netherlands treats that she delivers.
Mostly because all the cool kids are doing one, it seems, I hereby present my new years' meme.
