Update
Alright, just a quick update for those who are interested...
We saw the specialist today. The specialist told me that as far as he could tell everything was wonderful. According to the measurements taken today, the baby weighs 5 pounds and 13 ounces. So, it is highly possible that we will be having around an 8 pound baby at the end of June.
We still don't know the sex of the baby -- mainly because the legs are kept closed and close to the body. Honestly, I fear that the baby will be long in length due to the my SO's height and the mass of child that I seem to be carrying. LOL
My insulin was changed a little more -- but only by adding 5 more units to my supper time dosage. I expected this after my 24-hour stay in the hospital last week (I'm fine, okay!) and the fluctuations in my sugars as of late. Hopefully this will be the LAST adjustment to my insulin.
As of today, based on what my OB/GYN has previously stated, we have 5 weeks left before we see our little one. It seems like we have much of nothing...and my worries are starting to center on those thoughts. *will try to keep happy thoughts*
