It's clear I've got too much time on my hands.

On a fandom-y note, I'm watching the first SG-1 episode appearance of Jonas Quinn. Oh Jonas, I had forgotten how adorably nerdy you were. Also, Daniel ascending! And poor Jack having to deal with Daniel and the naquadriah radiation poisoning!

And on SGA "Miller's Crossing", when Rodney offers to feed himself to Todd the Wraith in order to save his sister and John won't let him! And John's face just falls when he says "I can't." Oh, boys. Fyi Stargate writers- you're doin' het wrong.

Caught up on Little Mosque. Not a big fan of Thorne. I know they're making him to be the villain and the source of conflict for season 4, but he's not that interesting of a character. Besides, I'm sure they had to make someone like that since they've "cured" Fred, but Thorne's just made too many racists remarks. Even Fred just ranted about erroneous facts about Islam or about specific local Muslims...I miss the old Rev! Also, Carlo Rota (Yasir) was on a commercial for White Collar. Hmmm. Interesting.

Almost finished knitting the Moderne Baby Blanket from Mason-Dixon Knitting, which is so not baby blanket size. I didn't check my gauge before I started (and really, who does for a blanket. Well, people who plan ahead, that's who) and kept getting bigger. And bigger. It'll look pretty though!

Last week of 7 Stories. After that, I got nothin'. The show's going quite well and I'll be sorry to see it go.

Hopefully, next week I'll finally be able to go to MEPS and sign my contract and go into DEP. I was going to go this week but I went to my recruiter's office last week and still getting over the massive cold I had over Thanksgiving. He told me the CMO at MEPS has been temporarily DQ'ing people with coughs left and right over threat of the swine flu. Also, I needed to get my records from the walk-in clinic when I sprained my ankle about 5 weeks ago. Oh, did I mention that? Because I did. Then again, I don't think anyone actually reads this, which sort of makes it a moot point. Anyway. Hopefully they'll approve the records and I'll be set to enlist. Finally.

Not looking forward to driving to work shortly, or more precisely, driving home later.
