Sorry about that. But not really.
I'm almost finished with my internship at Milwaukee Rep. How the hell did that happen? I'll be done at the end of April, and going to Utah Shakespeare again for May and June. I'll probably be working on Fiddler on the Roof, but Julia keeps threatening to put me to work on another Bill Black show...Like I want another repeat of Candida or Hamlet. So I'll try to keep on her good side. :)
I just bought my train ticket. Yay for trains. 34 hours of traveling across the country all by my lonesome. And my cousins, who were recently stationed in Salt Lake said that they would let me crash that night before I head down to Cedar City- which is exciting in that I get to meet Todd's wife Anita, who I've met once, but she was sick, and not in the mood to be sociable. Also, because Greyhound now goes directly to Cedar City. I'm not looking forward to leaving for two months, but I am to everything else and the journey there. I hear they're going to give us some Saturdays off- so yay to overnight hikes and finally, a trip to the Grand Canyon, and possibly to Vegas, without having worked 6 hours beforehand.
I also sent my application to Perseverance Theatre in Juneau tonight for another internship for next season. Jill, Julia, Sean, and Jeff (in that order) all read the letter and resume, and now it's out of my hands. Which is relief. But to say I won't be obsessively checking my email until I hear a response is an utter, utter lie. So thanks, to the peeps that helped me with the writin', because writing well and me- we ain't bff's. Sigh. Did I just write that?
We also microwaved peeps in the microwave today. It was brilliant! Needless to say, when prop people don't have anything to do, it's generally a bad sign for all involved, especially if you're a peep. (We did this last week too- with photo documentation!)
I'm so ridiculously excited for the season 4 premiere of Battlestar Galactica. You have no idea. I'm really curious to see what happens to Chief Tyrol and Lt. Gaeta. They're my favorites, and I may expand on this at a later time. Wee!
I have to go to sleep now. So, bye!
