And not for food either - I'm the only one here who can cook so people invite me round for a meal, make me cook it but don't charge me anything!? It's great! Gossip is rife (that's not what I mean, I'm sure), but it's pointless explaining because it's all very immature and you know maybe three names :-/ but seriously, no one here has a perverted sense of humour, no-one knows who you all are and I have no idea about the important things at home!! Is Harry still getting stoned regularly or trying to catch bats? Who's doing what with who? Who's not talking? Who's boyfriend am I spending too much time with despite the fact I'm in Newark?!?!?! Come on people!! Tell me!
Anyway.. Well it's been 200 posts since I was last reading lj.. Phew!
Enjoyed the Duo's Review of GoF, haven't seen it yet but will be watching for /something/ good to say about it.. Not hopeful :-/
Internet access is so stupidly infrequent because I have three assignments to do before Christmas break, it's often broken and sooooooooo slow so I can't be arsed with it.
Lectures are great - walking ferrets, clicker training terriers, catching birds, small mammal trapping.. And that's just handling (1hr a week)! All good.
Been helping Linzi and Shelley look after Keira and CJ (start helping with training and exercise once abcesses and tendon injuries are sorted - poor things).
Speaking of horses, the fall last week was spectacular, both in entertainment value and the rumours!! Three hours after I got up, back on and round the jump course I was in the bar listening to how 'some girl' from the Farm House Crew (I'm in a crew! go me!) had been carted off to A&E with fractures, hemoraging and all sorts. Ok, so I can't spell - I'm afraid I've never watched Casualty with subtitles :-p
Anyway, I have serious amounts of work to do so shouldn't stay talking drivel at you lot. Driving is going well - test before Christmas, wish me luck then I might get to see you all before I come back!!
Some of you may have noticed the phone is buggered. It only works for gran, mum, Christian and people within a 5mile radius - even then, for the former, all messages come through 2-12hrs late :-/ please hang on in there, I'm not ignoring anyone!!
Dr Norris? Red Dwarf 7 night? Pizza? Blue lemonade? One night soon after I get home? Please? Letter on way :-) *hugs* soooooooooo sorry it's been so long!
I'll leave you with my appalling grades so far: 94% test, 100% practical, 60% assignment... I swear no one else came here to work!
