Graduating from Hogwarts carried with it the added benefit of allowing Teddy to enjoy more free time. Not that he was always the most industrious student -- he often hovered between being studious and indolent -- but Teddy found that he now had more opportunity to consider what it was he really wanted to do with his life. For a long time, he'd had the unwavering view that he should follow in his mother's footsteps and be an Auror, or follow in his father's footsteps and be a professor. Finally, he was beginning to contemplate pursuing his true passions, despite the protestations he might incur from people like his Gran, for one.
And though he didn't have anything on his agenda in the way of study, those thoughts were certainly becoming something of a burden, and some time away with a good friend was just what he needed. He also knew that it was easy to get caught up in your tasks, so he hoped Rose could benefit from the time in Hogsmeade as well.
Wrapping his light scarf once around his neck, he tucked his hands into his pockets and waited by The Three Broomsticks for Rose.
