A Day in the Life for beletteblanc

Having Ron Weasley as his mentor for Auror training had its pros and cons, as with all things. The very obvious plus right now happened to be that his desire to sneak away for a day to see Victoire Weasley was sanctioned. Though, Ron couldn't let him off that easily; as he bid him adieu Friday night, Ron made it a point to get in a proper teasing, feeling it was obligatory, given that Victoire was his niece. But it was all in good fun, and as Ron clapped Teddy's shoulder good-naturedly, Teddy thanked Ron in the quiet, but earnest way he had when he was simultaneously preoccupied with something.

Saturday morning came around, and that meant meeting Victoire at Hogsmeade. The relationship had been blossoming slowly, and likely would've been progressing faster if it weren't for some of Teddy's inferiority complex when it came to certain things, notably being in love. But he was putting a great amount of effort into quelling those thoughts and mitigating his lingering thoughts that he was somehow not good enough for the likes of her, that he would only ruin the relationship somehow. Those were thoughts he buried deep inside, turning over in solitude when he had time to consider all the things that could go wrong, or right.

But, for now, he was in Hogsmeade, and determined to enjoy this day for what it was: time alone with Victoire.
