I really haven't posted in a long time
So I saw a myspace bulletin from Lauren, this kick ass chick I used to talk to a lot from the Oratory, saying she had a livejournal, so I decided to come here and blah..... I almost deleted mine, too for a few reasons.
- I'm almost not the same person anymore. I believe that people are in a constant state of evolution and etc......but sometimes I think of how I was a few years ago and I almost hate that person. But you can't hate the past, live in the past- just learn from it and go on.
- the whole name, hell even my myspace URL is saddled with "morphinelindsey" I'm no longer a supporter or a member of the forums. Mainly because I kinda outgrew it, I guess. Not to sound snotty or anything because I'm not better than anyone else- but I no longer find it entertaining. I haven't been there in over a year and I'm glad for that.
- I've been actually writing some stuff on a totally other site. Its under a screenname no one would imagine I'd use and I'm keeping it secretive.
So anyway.......a little update, I guess.......
I had surgery on March 2. It went really well. I haven't discussed it much beyond people who know me outside of the internet world. It was for my crohns.......part of my illeum was removed. I'm doing way better, and I'm returning to my job of managing a retail tween store on April 6. I'm also looking into finishing my degree in psych. I have only two years left, so why the hell not? I'm also gettting a Nissan Sentra. I have like 2g's more to get- and that's totally gonna be easy to get- and new car here I come.
I'm totally over Kelly- in fact ahaha. Here comes the funny part. I met this guy- I'm not rushing at all- and he's amazing. Wonderful conversationalist, hilarious, intelligent, premed, confident, blond, blue eyed, great guy.......who's also Kelly's cousin. Kelly said it was okay, so okay to that. I don't know what's gonna come of it, but I don't really care right now. He's amazing and its so much fun and there's such a connection so that's all that matters now.
Yawn.....I'm kinda sleepy now, so yeah. Hope you've all enjoyed this.
