Ok, so this is my first public entry for 2007. If you're wondering where did all my other entries go I made them friends only. So for those lazy sods who won't get an LJ *cough*PATCH*cough*...
Anyway it was time for a little cleanout. I had some pointless entries dating back to 2004.
So...
Nothing interesting happened at all during my 3 weeks of solitude while the whole family was overseas. I just spent most of my time at my cousins house. We stayed at home till 9.30pm on New Years and then we finally decided to go out. Stacey, Keshia and I went out to Rye to go to the carnival but it closed early. There were lots of people just standing around drinking in carparks and police patrolling the streets that we just got out of there. Lucky we did cause at midnight that's where the riots happened, at Rye. Scary stuff.
Then we visited some of my cousin's friends, then went back home just before midnight for the countdown. Then we all celebrated on the verandah with party poppers and sparklers. So that was fun.
The excitement started again last Saturday when Mum, Chelsea and Georgia came home. Mum and Georgia's plane arrived back in the morning, but Chelsea's didn't arrive till late at night. So funny though no one wanted to pick up Princess Chelsea from the airport and made plans to go out so they didn't have to, so Mum picked her up. I was DJing that night of course, got yet another compliant again. *rolls eyes* People will do anything to get their money back. I was accused of not using the microphone for the whole night, which I so did use. Grr...
Anyway after DJing I went out and met up with Stacey and her friends at Cube in Mornington. Lots of fun. Highlight of the night: Mum coming home to find that I wasn't there, and as a result I had 2 missed calls on my phone and then Mum called Stacey and she too had 2 missed calls. Stace and I were in stitches of laughter about it.
Turns out though that Chelsea had a bunch of friends waiting at the BP for her to come home that same night. And when she did they all bombarded our house just to catch a glimpse of Chels. *again rolls eyes* Stacey called it worship, lol. Though I'd call it stupidity.
Then Chelsea's friends told my Mum that they had seen me take off, gee...thanks for that...not.
I went out again on Monday night with Stacey, Candice and another girl that I don't remember her name I'm sorry. Went to a Le Reve convention...but we had all missed dinner because we were late and as soon it was over at like 10pm we all bolted for Maccas. lol. Throughout the meeting we all kept whispering "Golden Arches." and I fell asleep and then was laughed at for it...ha..ha...so there.
I'm finally getting a social life now. lol. Well kind of. Met up with Stacey and Bree today at the Grand for lunch. I managed to stay awake by drinking hot chocolates. lol. Lame but I had worked from midnight till 8am that morning and still had not yet gone to bed. Luckily I was given a weekend off from DJing.
Managed to get some sleep between 2-8.30pm and then went out with Stacey, Keshia and Georgia to the Rye Carnival. Finally we had time to go on the rides. Went on Ali Baba and the Pirate Ship and already we got headaches by then except Georgia, who went on to do some rockclimbing. Wow that kid was good at it, nearly reached the top every time except she couldn't press the finishing button, oh well we got pictures. She's never done it before and as usual I always worry about her because she's only 10 and I'm her big sister. Like for example I went on the Pirate Ship with Georgia and at first she wasn't scared and wanted to be on one end by herself. No way I'd let her go by herself and by the end of the ride she was hugging me and shouting "I want to get off!" lol awww!
Keshia and I wanted to drag Stacey onto the Zipper, but she was too chicken and stayed to look after Georgia while Keshia and I went on it anyway. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! I do love rides where you can go upside down and very fast, but at the end of the Zipper both Keshia and I walked out with such pale faces that Stacey and Georgia kept laughing at us. Then Stacey went on the breakdance and felt sick too, so haha!
Poor Keshia was very very sick, and the three of us had plans to go out to Daveys in Frankston afterwards. But obviously that didn't happen, lol. Never again! Who am I kidding? It was fun though. ;)
In other news...
Yay I might be meeting Liz! *dances & shows off in front of Nadya* Heehee, sorry Naddie. *huggles*
Oh and my Dad came home from Singapore this morning. He brought us all back MP3 Players! I got a Samsung YP-Z5F and I'm stoked. Can carry 4GB worth of music, which is heaps better than my old BenQ that could only carry 100MB (20 songs) and the battery only lasted a couple of hours. :D :D
