I was going to say something intelligent about the genre, but I think the words 'Sanada' and 'cyberjock' pretty much broke my brain before I got there.

still, DUDE. cyberpunk AU. this genre scares me because of all the cliches I know I would fall into trying to write it. you are brave and I wave pom-poms. and THE ATOBE CORPORATION. DUDE. I need to stop saying dude.

I was about to ask if you'd read William Gibson, because he's about the only cyberpunk author I enjoy reading. but he is the granddaddy of the genre :) and his prose is so stark, bare and beautiful, all facts and patterns and very little pure emotion. which is biased of me cause I like that style, but yeah. highly recommend :)

courage is the only thing i have to wave in the world's face. talent, good taste and an actual brain are another matter ;P

have -count zero- lined up after i finish with -mona lisa overdrive- (but have put reading projects on hold for the week, so am still frozen at the -restaurant at the end of the universe-, which i find myself craving badly). and still canNOT find -idoru- T_T

please educate me on this genre! am not the expert by a longshot. my stock knowledge really stops at gibson and sterling, and occasional wanderings into cyberpunk (PS, have started reading -perdido street station-, too, does mieville count?)

haha when I saw the title, I thought about that Pierrot song. XDDD Yay for Pierrot fans *_* What else is on your angry!rikkai playlist? XD I have yet to compile one. My angst!rikkai playlist is the Witch Hunter Robin OST (last few songs) XD;; I had Allay Pain on repeat while trying to finish my angst fic. +_+;;;;

This is interesting so far and I adore Ray Bradbury. *_* Atobe Corporation...how fitting. XD I love the last line. I love it when people tie the story back to the title. >_<;;; <3

etto, the playlist is constantly under development. occasionally i find a good hard song i like and slap it on, but it seldom sticks ^^ these are the staples ^_^

wah, have not listened to the witch hunter robin ost yet! and have only watched a few eps, courtesy of a good friend, but that looked like one seriously angsty set of bgms...

bradbury :x god, it's been years since i last touched anything from those old guys. i remember how much i wibbled over the martian chronicles, even if i can only remember ONE story from it now XD

Ooh, cyberpunk. ^^ What you've got so far sounds really interesting, and I can't wait to see where you go with this. Oh, and I liked the style you used here. <3

i seriously need to rewrite it. perhaps after i've posted the first few parts...but am glad you liked! <3 the few cyberpunk books and stories that i've read have a distinct poetic style i can't quite grasp, not even when likkered up XD

I don't have a picture of where you'll be taking this yet, but I'm intrigued, and I really like the descriptions you used, particularly the moth and the snowflake. Looking forward to more of this. =)
