this came about because mochaholic gave me a copy of Alter Bridge's new album and mentioned that "Wayward One" really reminded her of Reborn. now it reminds me of Reborn, too ^^

The classic "what if" -

I love how you made characters still retain their core personalities and simultaneously show how incomplete they are if Reborn hadn't entered their lives.

The Mukuro-is-Byakuran aspect is unique as well; it's certainly interesting. Is Lambo going to be that lazy though? I guess; he was extremely energetic as child, but he does have one eye closed half the time in the TYL!s and appears to be rather lazy.

The little tie-in conclusion is beautifully rendered. The whole piece is beautiful and rather thought-provoking. Thank you for writing this!

i actually had a hard time writing out lambo... i didn't want to portray him as lazy at all, i was shooting more for "unattached," but yeah... the impression i got of him in the TYLs is somebody confident, who takes life easy. somewhere along the way i suppose that childhood hyperactivity was focused into something, but i'm really not sure yet what that "something" is ^^
