So pretty much the coolest thing ever happened. I was watching TV and browsing the onscreen guide when I hit the select button. This brings up a menu of options one of which usually says "recording unavailable" but this time it gave to option to record. For some reason, magically, my PVR box got recording enabled, which is totally awesome.
