(no subject)
So I never updated the goings on, mostly because they weren't all that interesting. Jared got into town with his friend Jennifer at 1 am Monday morning. I, of course, went to bed at 10 because I have a real job and planned on getting up to be at work by 7:30 so I could be back and we could do something later. The idea was to leave the office at 3:30 and then go to Natural Bridge Caverns near San Antonio and then fuck around in the city for a while. I ended up being encouraged to go to a new hire meeting (which my mentor who had been with the company for six months had to go to) by my manager, so I did that and didnt' end up leaving until 4:30. This completely kills the caverns, but we still decided to go to San Antonio for Mexican food. On the way I realize that we'd be passing right by Chris and Steph's so I called and they weren't doing anything so they came along. We get there and evenutally find the restaurant and sit down to eat. I eat (and drink) too much and feel sick the rest of the night. We decide to take a walk to the Alamo. Jared, Jennifer, and his other friend who lives there decide to do the lame thing and take one of those boat rides down the river. Me, Chris, and Steph weren't into that so we walk around. We go to McDonalds to sit down, and have some water and we see some dude get arrested. Eventually we leave and find the Alamo and sit around at take pictures until Jared shows up. Then we go home pretty much right before it rains. All in all pretty uneventful given that stupid things usually happen when Jared comes.
