I have a new pet peeve, which is webpages that don't think hitting the enter key is a good substitute for the huge red arrow, or whatever they use for click here.
I am rather annoyed that the weather has turned wet. I had lots of plans that involved it being dry, one of them being replacing the cracked taped up glass with pristine Plexiglas. There a hardware store here that cuts Plexiglas to fit your window frame as a sub for that nasty glass which breaks. I don't know how we will fare as far as cold coming in during the winter, but It looks good in a window frame.
One of the many perks to having virgin window surfaces in the kitchen is being able to see in and/or out much better.
Sherman the Lab has discovered if he stands up and puts his paws on the side of the house that he can see in. His next trick was to stand on top of the dog house for a better view. This is a bit unnerving, because I don't know if he's going to take the next leap in dog logic and try to jump in. This would be regretted by all.
I have some of that cling film with pictures of flowers and stain glass to put over that window to give us a little privacy, should the next door neighbors go out into their garage, up the stairs and look back into my boring ass kitchen.
Last winter I painted the kitchen cabinets and the half bath a very dark peach color and I am already sick of it.
Will there be more painting? De-painting?
